The EZHD-38 is the Heavy Duty lift that you have been looking for, featuring adjustable wheel base width, footbase height and column height for varying situations. The EZ Heavy Duty is truly a jack of all trades. This versatile mechanical lift is the best option for facilities that need to accommodate a wide variety of circumstances when lifting patients. This patient lift works well with varying wheelchair widths, patients with above-average height or weight, and even narrow halls and doors. This mechanical lift also features an enhanced, heavy duty frame.

Just like our other EZ Lifts, the EZ Heavy Duty transfer machine assists the patient from wheelchair or bed. The patient's knees are braced and the chestpad rotates upward and forward to raise the patient's buttocks from the seating surface. The included calf straps and back straps provide security and the adjustable thigh strap is used to help transfer the patient. This is accomplished with a smooth, easy, safe movement.

The EZ Heavy Duty patient lift can accommodate persons weighing up to 380 pounds and up to 6'6" tall. The transfer machine's outer width can be varied from 27" to 37". The transfer machine's base width can be adjusted while the patient is in the lift to accommodate maneuvering in and out of doorways, or down hallways. This mechanical lift will pass through a 29" wide doorway when in its narrow setting.

The EZ Heavy Duty transfer machine can be used for most non-ambulatory patients, including those with paralysis or weakness that inhibit standing or walking, but especially for use with patients with above-average height or weight. It is contra-indicated for patients with osteoporosis, contractures, open fractures, new hip or joint replacements and ventilated patients until medical clearance is obtained.

Lift machines arrive boxed and need only minimal assembly. It includes a thigh, calf and back strap, maintenance manual, instructions and a parts list. Warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and material.
