Model: EZ-22 The perfect mechanical lift made especially for smaller adults and children! The versatile EZ Lift 22 Model EZ-22 is designed specifically to fit most children and smaller adults. This patient lift system will accommodate and grow with them for years to come.
This model is designed for low cost and high durability - featuring molded foam upholstery, a three-setting wheelbase, and a unique dual-position stop lock for perfect positioning and safety of the patient and the caregiver.
The EZ Lift 22 uses the same frame as the EZ Lift 24 but has a shorter arm between the chest pad and pivot bolt to accommodate a smaller person's shorter torso.
Taking into consideration children with shorter legs, an optional multi-position foot base is available. The EZ Lift 22 can be retrofitted with EZ Lift 24 parts as the user grows. The EZ Lift 22 will pass through a 26" wide opening.
The EZ-22 patient lift is designed to meet the many needs of children and small adults at home. The EZ 22 lifts individuals who need total assistance. It also works well for elderly or post-op patients. This mechanical lift decreases caregiver strain and helps to prevent back injuries. The machine lifts the patient gently and fully supports them with extra padding at the knees and chest. The patient's own weight actually aids in the lifting process. The caregiver stabilizes the patient and provides the small lift force necessary. The thigh strap helps to hold the person's weight. The double lift handles ensure proper body mechanics. This mechanical lift is great for lifting a person from bed, toilet or wheelchair.
This mechanical lift is rolled in front of the patient, and their feet placed on the footbase. The patient leans forward against the chestpad. Back and calf straps are included to enhance security and combat spasticity. The caregiver, standing in front of the lift, pulls forward on the lift handles. The patient rises and rotates forward to a leaning position supported by padded knee and chest supports. A thigh strap helps hold the person's weight. The patient may now be rolled from place to place.
The EZ Lift 24 can be used for most non-ambulatory patients, including those with paralysis or weakness that inhibit standing or walking. It is contra-indicated for patients with osteoporosis, contractures, open fractures, new hip and joint replacements and ventilated patients until medical clearance is obtained.
