Just like the Model EZ-24, the Model EZ-32 has a center column for exceptional balance. It also allows the lift to fit mid-wheel wheelchairs as well as four wheel wheelchairs. The center column is removable which makes the EZ-32 very transportable. The Model EZ-32 mechanical lift also features a deep base to accommodate nearly all types of wheelchairs, dual knee pads for improved stance, sewn vinyl upholstery, total-lock 4" wheels for safety, and dual pull handles for strain-free lifting for the operator. The Model EZ-32 patient lift will pass through a 25" wide doorway when configured in its narrow wheelbase setting. In addition to our luxury features, this mechanical lift has the maneuverability, comfort and mobility that you are looking for all in one place.
The EZ-32 patient lift is designed to meet the many needs of individuals at home or clinic. This mechanical lift fits patients weighing up to 330 lbs, and can be adjusted in height and width for people up to 6'7" tall. The EZ 32 lifts individuals who need total assistance. It also works well for elderly or post-op patients. This mechanical lift decreases caregiver strain and helps to prevent back injuries. The machine lifts the patient gently and fully supports them with extra padding at the knees and chest. The patient's own weight actually aids in the lifting process. The caregiver stabilizes the patient and provides the small lift force necessary. The double lift handles insure proper body mechanics.
This mechanical lift is rolled in front of the patient, and their feet placed on the footbase. The patient leans forward against the chestpad. Back and calf straps are included to enhance security and combat spasticity. The caregiver, standing in front of the lift, pulls forward on the lift handles. The patient rises and rotates forward to a leaning position supported by padded knee and chest supports. A thigh strap helps hold the person's weight. The patient may now be rolled from place to place.
The EZ Lift 32/300 transfer machine can be used for most non-ambulatory patients, including those with paralysis or weakness that inhibit standing or walking. It is contra-indicated for patients with osteoporosis, contractures, open fractures, new hip or joint replacements and ventilated patients until medical clearance is obtained.
