The Saratoga Silver Mag 1 Cycle is an arm cycle designed for those requiring accurate readings of torque or power or energy expended during an exercise session.

The Saratoga Silver Mag Cycle utilizes an ultra quiet belt drive system with bi-directional operation. Resistive torque is provided through electronic eddy-braking using solid state feedback techniques. This allows settings for not only a particular torque rating but also variable torque ratings throughout exercise to keep work (watts) constant.

Resistance is computer adjustable via touch panel switches. The Saratoga Silver Mag Cycle has six pre-programmed exercise routines as well as the ability to program custom routines. Readouts of RPM, speed (based on a standard 26" cycle tire), torque, watts, calories, time, and pulse are displayed either constantly or in a scan mode.

An ear-clip pulse sensor circuit is incorporated not only to measure pulse when desired but also to integrate this reading with RPM and torque. This allows the setting of pulse-controlled protocol, whereby cycle effort is increased or decreased in order to maintain constant pulse rate. Over-pulse alarms are provided.
